This pick is an Ribbon Stone is from Australia and is found near Lake Argyle in the Kimberly Ranges of Western Australia. Ribbon Stone is very old and has been known to date at 1200 million years old. It is actually Chert and sometimes mistaken for Jasper. It is similar to Zebra Stone.

The stone was sent to me by an acquaintance in Australia. I have made 3 from the rock samples he sent me.

I cut, grind and polished each stone by hand.

This one measures 2.1mm thick by 29mm wide by 33mm long. A standard plastic guitar pick will measure 26mm x 31mm long.
