Rare Large Goldette Locket Necklace Beautiful Repousse Lithe Bird Design

Wonderful rare piece from Goldette features a large perfume style Locket Necklace with a fabulous repousse high relief design featuring a Lithe bird on a branch in the center. The same design is on the front and back of the locket. Gold tone plated casted metal with lovely scalloped edges, done in a watch fob shape design. Has a secure snap close and is marked inside, Goldette on a raised oval shaped cartouche. The pendant locket is in excellent condition.

The chain is a hook chain, which is very simple in design, having a round link with two folded back ends forming the hook that links into the next link; it is also known as a ladder chain.

The chain measures approximately 33" overall and 22" between the face medallion and hte clasp. The pendant has a diameter of approximately 2".
