Quartz Metaphysical Guitar Pick - Exotic, Unique

Quartz emotes a noticeably brilliant tone and sharp attack in a metal string. It sounds exceptionally good (in my opinion) on an acoustic guitar, mandolin, any acoustic instrument with metal strings. 

Quartz enhances spiritual growth, spirituality and wisdom. Because it clarifies thought processes and emotions, it can increase inspiration and creativity. It can also help with concentration, studying and retaining what one learns. A quartz pick would be a great asset for a guitar player, aside from the wonderful way it enhances the sound of an acoustic guitar!

I cut, shaped, ground and polished this natural quartz pick by hand.

It averages 2mm thick (it is tapered from top to bottom, 2.2mm to 1.7mm) and is 28mm wide x 33mm long. (A typical plastic pick will measure 28mm x 30mm.)

It is a 7 on the Mohs Hardness Scale. Diamonds are a 10. 

This quartz has a nice translucence that gives it a mystical appearance. A true "Pick of Destiny".

DO NOT DROP ANY STONE GUITAR PICK ON A HARD FLOOR OR PRESS TOO HARD. THEY CAN BE BROKEN. 

Designed with the acoustic guitar player in mind because it is 2mm thick. I have not made many of these because it is difficult to make any stone pick to this thickness.
