Swarovski (SAL) Emerald Trillion Cut Rhinestone Earrings

From the late, great '80s Swarovski upped the ante with jewelry that reflected the attitude and altitude of the times. Power and prestige were the names of the game with accessories to match the madness.

The 1980s vintage clip earrings presented feature lustrous gold tone raked/slanted settings housing wonderful puzzle set trillion cut clear rhinestones crowned with an emerald cut glossy black glass stone, unfoiled and open backed.

The earrings measure a generous approximate 1 1/4 inches high x 1 1/16 inches wide with a 1/4 inch profile or dome. Rectangular cut black stone is about 13 millimeters x 9 millimeters; largest trillion cut rhinestones, 8 millimeters. 

Condition is good to very good vintage. There is a very small chip on one of the black stones. Please see the pictures. All components intact and function properly. All trillion cut rhinestones sparkly. Black stones retain glossy black sheen. No cracks or breaks to stones. All gold tone finish intact, fronts and backs. No dents or improper bends to metal components. Clean. In Very Good vintage condition. (The silicone clip pads have been replaced since the picture was taken.)

Reverse of each earring body signed: "S.A.L." (one of the marks used by the Swarovski America Ltd formed in 1955) followed by copyright symbol. Circa 1980s.
